Easter, Jacob Dahlgren, Peinture Abstraite - Curated Shows, 13.4-27.4 2014, For us Christians, Easter is the most important holiday. Celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after his crucifixion. Easter is the culmination of the Passion of Christ, preceded by Lent, a forty-day period of fasting. The last week of Lent is called Holy Week. I want Jacob to wear striped t-shirts related to the liturgical colours of Christianity, starting on Palm Sunday, April 13 (Holy Week - solemn and sorrowful). Ending with Octave of Easter, a joyful eight-day period of celebration, Easter Sunday, April 20, until the Sunday following Easter, April 27.
